Identify strengths and areas of growth by asking students to reflect on their self-image, self-esteem, and ideal self.

This self-perception worksheet is best used with your social & emotional learning teaching presentation as a resource for the students to apply what they have learned.

The first section has the students list their strengths in a positive way. The second section asks the students to think about two areas of weakness and develop them into growth statements.

Self-Esteem Worksheet Scaffolding and Extension Tips

In addition to individual student work time, this self-esteem worksheet can be used as a(n) activity for a:

  • Mindfulness Center/Station
  • Post-lesson review exit ticket
  • Whole-class review activity (via smartboard)

Got fast finishers? Challenge students to share their strengths and growth statements with a small group. They can also add to the lists as needed.

Support struggling students by turning this worksheet into a class lead activity. Help students dive into the concepts, give examples, and incorporate time to share with peers as turn & talk activities.
