Taking the Dot Day Challenge
Students will read the notes about circles and gather their supplies: pencils, colored pencils, rulers, and a compass. Then, they will follow the six steps below to create a one-of-a-kind circle drawing! Some examples of tasks required are
- Draw three circles anywhere on the page with a diameter of 3 inches. Do not let these circles overlap each other. Lightly shade these circles blue.
- Draw five circles with a radius of 1 inch. Make each of these circles overlap a piece of one of the circles drawn in step 1. Lightly shade these circles red.
