Inject Some Spiral Review With a Dose of Daily Calendar Math!

Are you looking for ways to make math more enjoyable for your students? Would you like to fit in some daily spiral math review as well? If so, you should definitely have a look at Calendar Math. Calendar Math is an easy-to-implement Daily Review activity that uses a simple monthly calendar to teach important math concepts like counting, patterns, problem-solving, and a variety of other skills.

Make Reusable Calendar Math Worksheets!

One of the best things about Calendar Math is that it involves consistent daily review, which means students will remember and understand the concepts better over time. However, you definitely don’t want to have to make copies of calendar math worksheets every day of the week.

That’s where this resource comes in! This printable calendar math worksheet is the perfect way to implement Spiral Math Review in an eco-friendly way. Simply print copies of the worksheet and insert them into clear sleeves. From there, give your students a dry erase marker to work through the day’s activities. Once they finish and you’ve gone over the lesson, they can wipe it all away and be ready for the next day. Students will complete the following activities daily using the calendar as their reference tool.

  • Identify the day of the week.
  • Identify the day before, the day of the week, and the day after
  • Write today’s date
  • Color the number of the day
  • Identify the day’s number as odd or even
  • Show the number of the day, the number before, and the number after
  • Show the day’s number using base ten blocks or tally marks
