Connect Equivalent Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages

Students will need to slip on their thinking caps to solve this math maze!

Using their knowledge of fractions, decimals, and percentages, students will create multiple paths by collecting equivalent values in different forms through the maze.

There are three versions of the maze included in the resource that increases in difficulty as follows:

  • Maze 1: equivalent numbers of 25%, 50%, and 100%
  • Maze 2: equivalent numbers of 10%, 20%, and 75%
  • Maze 3: equivalent numbers of 12%, 62.5%, and 95%

Use this worksheet as an early finisher task or as a review activity when learning to find connections between equivalent fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Answer pages are included with your download to make marking fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:

  • math group rotation
  • early finisher activity
  • whole-class review (via smartboard)

Task more capable students with completing Maze 3 and creating their own maze.

Give students who need extra support a list of equivalent fractions, decimals, and percentages that are found in the maze.
