Kindergarten Counting – Make a Match!
This garden-themed matching card game requires students to count the number of flowers on the card and match it up with the card displaying the equivalent numerical representation. The activity explores numbers and quantities from 1-20.

To prepare this game for your math centers, a whole-class game or for student pairs, print and cut apart the cards. Shuffle them and place them on the table facing up.

🆘 Support Struggling Students
Help students who need help understanding the concepts by providing physical manipulatives for them to count, and help them visualize the increasing quantity per number counted. Alternatively, use a number line or hundreds board to show the quantities and intervals of one.
➕ Challenge Fast Finishers
Scale the intervals! Students working above level will enjoy the challenge of having each flower represent a different value (for example, 2 instead of 1), and practice their skip counting!
