Is it Cooperation? Character Education Instruction

Every day our young students encounter various obstacles every single day, and it’s not always easy to deal with them. These obstacles may seem trivial, like having to wait in line for a long time at the school cafeteria, or they could be more challenging, such as having a disagreement with a friend or sibling. It’s important for our students to learn how to handle these situations with grace and cooperation.

Identify Examples of Cooperation in the Classroom

This engaging activity is designed to help students tell the difference  between cooperative and non-cooperative behaviors in the classroom. With 24 thought-provoking statements and scenarios to read, students will have the opportunity to hone their categorization skills. By successfully identifying and sorting cooperative and non-cooperative behaviors, students will develop a greater understanding of positive social interactions and how they contribute to a successful learning environment.
