This Veteran’s Day Soldier Bear activity provides a fun, interactive way to help young students show their appreciation to veterans. The template provided has students writing a thank-you note to a veteran and a handsome soldier bear to hold their letters of appreciation.

Display the Veteran’s Day crafts on your bulletin board and have your veterans come by to look at them or take them home as keepsakes.

Through this activity, students build skills in writing a friendly letter and understand the meaning behind the Veteran’s Day holiday.
