Build vocabulary and understanding of the U.S. Constitution with a fill-in-the-blank cloze passage on the Bill of Rights.
Simplify the Bill of Rights for Kids with a Cloze Activity
Do you need resources to teach about the United States Government? We’ve got the background and the resources you need to make that happen!
The U.S. government was created by the Constitution. The U.S. Constitution is the home of the Bill of Rights…the document that guarantees equal rights to citizens of our great country. We’ve discovered a common opinion in recent conversations with our teacher friends. Government is, by far, one of the most difficult and abstract concepts to teach in elementary school. We’re here to help you do that!
This worksheet integrates Social Studies, reading, and vocabulary concepts. Students will read a short passage covering the basics of the Bill of Rights in America. They will then use a word bank to complete the cloze passage regarding the Bill of Rights.
