Use these worksheets when teaching students about the connections between the setting and plot of a piece of text.
Students will answer a series of questions about the setting and plot of their favorite book. Then, they will change the setting of the text and explore how this changes the story’s plot.
This resource can be used as independent practice after a lesson or together as a whole-class activity in the middle of a lesson. Simply project the worksheets on the dry-erase board and work through the questions together using a class read-aloud as the text.
