Use this printable place value chart filled with different ways to represent a number in your classroom.
What Is a Place Value Chart?
A place value chart is a visual tool that is used to help understand the value of digits in a number. It is typically arranged in columns and rows, with each column representing a place value (ones, tens, hundreds, etc.) and each row representing a digit within a number.
There are many different types of charts available, so it is great to find one that can be used for many different purposes! With this retro rainbow place value chart, the display ranges from the billions place to the thousandths place. Within the place value periods, students will have a visual reference of how numbers are written in standard, word, and exponential forms. Additionally, visual images that relate to money are included to help students make real-world connections.
