Spend a little time learning coins, and you’re certain to see a return on your investment!

Each activity in this set of slides focuses on identifying four coin names and their amounts. To play, students will drag and drop words or coin pictures into place, depending on the activity.

This interactive game includes 26 slides with four coin poems and four coin identification and value activities. Your students will build their money identification skills while also working on numbers and operations.

Encourage students to identify the sum of multiple coins of the same type. For example, three nickels, two quarters, five dimes, etc.

🧑‍🏫 Class Activity

Project the slides onto a screen and work through them as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks or mini whiteboards.
