Need Cinco de Mayo Activities for Preschoolers and Kindergartners?

You’re in the right place! We’ve been putting together some fantastic resources to guide your instruction surrounding Cinco de Mayo.

This Cinco de Mayo writing mini-book provides a fun, interactive way to help young students learn about things related to the holiday and practice their handwriting skills simultaneously!

Print each student a copy of the book pages and have them cut apart the rectangles. Then they can stack and staple them (or you could have a parent volunteer help). Once your books are made, students have a place to learn new Cinco de Mayo words and practice letter formation while they trace the letters.

Through this activity, students will increase their vocabulary and build skills in writing with correct letter formation.
