Using Your Classroom Quilt About Me Template
To create a collaborative classroom quilt, your students will complete the following.
- Complete the prompts inside the quilt square; they can draw or write their answers.
- Draw a picture of themselves in the centre.
- Colour the quilt square using their favourite colours.
- Cut out and tape or glue the quilt squares together to form a quilt.
To assemble the quilt, you can try any of these options:
- Once the quilt squares are complete, flip them over and tape them together in a grid formation.
- Staple quilt squares into a grid formation on a classroom display.
- Add pieces of tape to the corners of each square, then tape them into a grid formation on the wall.
- Get a large sheet of butcher’s paper. Glue the completed quilt squares onto the butcher’s paper in a grid formation.
