If you are teaching your students multiplication strategies, chances are they have learned about equal groups, arrays and repeated addition. But how about representing multiplication facts on a number line? This concept helps students understand strategies such as repeated addition and skip counting and is another great way to help them solidify their understanding of multiplication.

This teacher-created resource includes 5 different options to choose from. Each worksheet requires students to analyse a set of number lines, determine the corresponding maths problem and figure out the product.

• Version 1 – Number lines are scaled by 1
• Version 2 – Number lines are scaled by 2
• Version 3 – Number lines are scaled by 3
• Version 4 – Number lines are scaled by 5
• Version 5 – Number lines are scaled by 10
