Engage your students in thought-provoking discussions and fun exercises on Read Across America with a fun game of Would You Rather?

Start the Read Across America Week with “Would You Rather…?”

Are you looking for a fun Read Across America to get your students moving? This whole-class activity encourages students to express their preferences and likes in a fun way. To extend this activity further, consider counting and graphing how many students like each choice.

To play, project the slides in front of the class. Students will be presented with two choices. After by deciding which option they prefer, students will move to the left or right side of the room to indicate their answers.

After a series of questions, students will be prompted with an active participation prompt that has them complete a different movement or exercise for one minute. What a fun way to start Read Across America Day!
