Are you looking for some division practice pages? Have no fear! Teach Starter is here! With this resource, students will use their division skills in a variety of ways to determine answers for problems up to 5-digit dividends and 3-digit divisors.

With this worksheet, students will practice:

  • Finding the quotient
  • Solving for the missing dividend
  • Solving for the missing divisor
  • Estimating quotients
  • Solving word problems

Students can complete the worksheet digitally or on paper. There is a bar to color in their progress as they complete a section and a bar to color in when they have checked their work. These are good visuals for students to monitor their own work completion and accuracy. 

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

To make the worksheet more challenging, teachers can edit the numbers to make them larger or more complex. Upon accurately completing the worksheet, students can be given more in-depth problem-solving tasks beyond calculation. Have students model the division problems, create tutorial videos or posters, or help a classmate with their division.  

Invite students who need additional support to reference previous assignments, posters, or anchor charts. Additionally, students can be provided with a multiplication chart to help them with their calculations.

Because this resource includes an answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheet for students to complete. 

To save paper, we suggest printing this 2-page worksheet double-sided. 

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing on cardstock and slipping it into a dry-erase sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse them. 

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
