☁️ Weather Tools Worksheet

Are your students learning how to measure, record, and predict changes in weather? If so, they may be learning about the tools used to measure wind speed, the amount of rainfall, wind direction, temperature, and air pressure.

With this resource, students will practice identifying weather tools based on what they look like and measure. Students will sort information about the following weather tools:

  • Anemometer
  • Barometer
  • Rain Gauge
  • Thermometer
  • Weather Vane

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

For students who need a bit of a challenge, encourage them to create an infographic or poster showing how different weather tools may be used within their community.

If there are students who need additional support, this activity can be modified to where students only need to sort the pictures or the descriptions. Additionally, invite students to reference previous assignments, posters, or anchor charts.
