Valentine’s Day Activities with No Prep!

Valentine’s Day is an exciting time for students.  As a teacher, the holiday is both fun and exhausting.  To take a bit of stress and a lot of cleanup off your plate, we’ve created a Digital Valentine’s Day Interactive slide activity. This resource has all the fun learning activities kids love on Valentine’s Day in a clean, zero-prep format! 

To use, simply assign the Google Slides resource to your students via Google Classroom, open the file in Edit mode, and let them loose for a bit of independent practice and learning. You could also complete the activities included as a whole group.

Easy and Fun Valentine’s Day Math & Literacy

With this download, students will be able to

  • Decorate a digital Valentine’s Day Card
  • Count tally marks to identify a number of objects
  • Count and tally a number of objects
  • Identify beginning sounds 
  • Identify ending sounds
  • Create a picture graph using data from a tally table
  • Analyze a pictograph to identify the number of objects in a category
  • Count syllables in Valentine’s Day Words
  • Add single-digit numbers up to ten
  • Continue a picture pattern
  • Read a bar graph to determine the number of objects in a category.
  • Use a number key to create and solve addition problems up to twenty.
