An editable 22-slide PowerPoint to use when teaching students about the states of matter.

Use this teaching presentation when teaching your students about the states of matter.

This PowerPoint goes into depth when explaining solids, liquids, and gases, making it the perfect presentation to use with your students. It incorporates excellent visuals and has check-for-understanding slides built-in, making it easy to see which students need extra support while keeping your students engaged throughout the presentation. It also ends with a lab experiment, allowing your students to put their learning into action!

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the PowerPoint or the Google slides version. Please note that the Google slides version allows for more interaction with drag-and-drop activities and places for you and your students to type the answers to the higher-order thinking questions that are asked throughout the presentation.

The resource was created by Colleen Burke, a teacher in New York and a Teach Starter Collaborator.
