Spring Math Activities for Little Learners!
Spring has sprung, so it’s time to freshen up your collection of math centers with some springtime-themed hands-on math activities for preschool and kindergarten-age learners. Take time to switch up your classroom math centers with Teach Starter!
We’ve put together the perfect resource for preschool and kindergarten students working on learning to count and recognize numbers. This set of task cards is designed to provide hands-on, interactive practice for students to count objects up to twenty and identify amounts using a ten frame.
Prep, Print, and Use our Ten Frame Printable Task Cards
A little prep is needed before handing off this activity to your students. We recommend laminating or placing the individual cards in sheet protectors so students can write and wipe answers as they complete the task cards. To use,
- Provide each student with a printable recording sheet and a dry-erase marker.
- Students will choose a task card, complete it and write the answer on the card with the marker.
- Once they’ve determined the amount, they will write their findings on their task card recording sheet.
