Are you looking for a math worksheet for your students to practice decimal place value? Teach Starter has you covered! This worksheet has 10 different questions covering different decimal forms. Students will also demonstrate their understanding of this skill with different question types (multiple choice, shading, short answer, etc.)

With this worksheet, students will practice naming decimals to the thousandths place in word, standard, and expanded forms.  Students will also use base ten blocks to represent decimals.

For students needing a bit of a challenge, encourage them to make a list of numbers with a decimal to the ten thousandths place. Students can practice writing the different forms for each number.

For students who may need a bit of support, consider completing the activity in a 1-on-1 setting or with a small group. Additionally, invite students to reference previous lessons, assignments, or anchor charts to support them with this worksheet.

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing on cardstock and slipping it into a dry-erase sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse them. 

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
