Cut and Paste Basic Fractions Worksheet

Visualizing fractions is a great way to represent an abstract concept in a concrete way. With this worksheet, students will match visual representations to written fractions.

  • tenths

The different visual representations include number lines, collections of objects, and shaded shapes.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding  

In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:

Extend students by tasking them with creating additional representations for each fraction. For example, if the representation of the fraction is a shaded shape, the students will create a number line or collection of objects to represent the fraction.
