Go Jellyfishing with a Dolch 25 – Sight Word Game!

We know that students respond well to learning through technology. We know they love games and references to pop culture too!

That’s why we’ve gone interactive with this engaging jellyfish sight word activity for your kindergarten students.

This activity includes the first 25 sight words from the Kindergarten Dolch Sight Word list. To play, students will listen for a word, then identify the word they heard, and select the jellyfish net with the correct word to catch the jellyfish. If a student makes a mistake, they are prompted to try again because the jellyfish escaped. If they are correct, they will move forward and see the jellyfish in its container.

Through this activity, students will show they can identify high-frequency words from a research-based list.
