The International Women’s Day 2021 theme is #CHOOSETOCHALLENGE. This theme is all about challenging gender roles and celebrating the achievements of women.
This resource will allow you to have a conversation with your students about challenging gender roles in today’s society. Students can finish the sentence stem and decorate the person however they want.
To celebrate International Women’s Day in 2021, the campaign asks people to take a picture of themself raising their hand as if to say, “Yes! I choose to challenge …!” This resource has been designed around that concept. You might like to have your students take a picture of themselves in this way to go along with their templates!
