Have a bit of spooky fun identifying parts of speech by sorting Halloween nouns, verbs, and adjectives with a cut and paste worksheet.
🎃 Halloween Cut and Paste Worksheets for Grammar Review
Students independently identify the nouns, verbs, and adjectives and sort each Halloween word into its correct part of speech category. The worksheets included contain two versions of the same activity, described as follows.
- Version 1 has students cutting, sorting, and gluing nouns, verbs, and adjectives into their labeled part of speech categories. These are perfect for your grade-level readers and writers.
- Version 2 is the same concept but differentiated for your struggling readers and ESL/ELL students. This version of the resource provides students with visual cues to help with decoding each word.
Grab these Halloween grammar worksheets and help your students develop a better understanding of the three parts of speech.
Fully Editable for Differentiation
Download these fall-themed grammar worksheets as a Google Slides file. Double-click on the words and change them to make them easier or more complex, depending on your students’ needs.
You can change the nouns, adjectives, and verbs in the boxes and even the directions! Coordinate the words to match your classroom grammar posters, word wall, or weekly vocabulary words.
