Grow Vocabulary with Greek and Latin Roots

Whether you have high readers, low readers, or ELL students, vocabulary instruction is a critical component in any balanced literacy program. In higher grades, this transitions into intensive word study, and a serious integration of Greek and Latin root words. This Greek and Latin root vocabulary word wall is sure to prove invaluable in helping students grow their vocabularies, enhance comprehension, and build reading confidence.

This set of 24 word wall cards serves as an excellent display for studying roots. Each card has the root, its meaning, and a picture or symbol to aid in understanding. These are available in both color and blackline versions.
