Print this Endangered Animals Classification Poster out and display it in your classroom when studying endangered animals.

Information includes:

When the numbers of a species of animal become very low, they face the risk of becoming extinct.

Extinct means that there are no more animals in a species left, or that no living animal has been found for over 50 years.

Critically Endangered indicates that a species is facing an extremely high risk of being extinct very soon.

Endangered means that a species is in danger of becoming extinct.

Vulnerable means that a species is not yet classified as endangered, but numbers are
continuing to drop.
