Elizabeth Cady Stanton – For Kids!

Are you on the hunt for Social Studies resources? Reading resources, or both? If so, we’re glad you came here first!

We know how tough it is to fit your Social Studies curriculum into the school day and how hard it is to find editable, differentiated reading materials for struggling readers. To give back some of that time you usually spend searching, we have put together some differentiated pieces to help you blend Reading and Social Studies into the same segment!

Learn Elizabeth Cady Stanton Facts with Leveled Texts

In this differentiated Elizabeth Cady Stanton worksheet is a nonfiction reading passage based on facts about Elizabeth Stanton,  women’s rights, and the 19th amendment. It is written for students in grades 3-5. We have included two differentiated passages to help you better align your content to your students’ reading levels. The passages included are

  • Passage 1 – Grade Level – Lexile is 700-800
  • Passage 2 – Below Grade Level – Lexile is 610.

Integrate social studies content with your reading comprehension instruction and add rigor to the lesson with a women’s suffrage lesson during your reading block. This resource is perfect for an introduction to the Women’s rights unit or a quick review of concepts at the end of a unit.
