Review how to divide a decimal by a decimal and a whole number with this set of math mazes.
Practice How to Divide Decimals
Are your students in need of a refresher on how to divide with decimals? When teaching your student to divide with decimals, remind them if the dividend has more decimal places than the divisor, shift the decimal point in the dividend to the right until it has the same number of decimal places as the divisor. If the dividend has fewer decimal places than the divisor, shift the decimal point in the dividend to the right until it has the same number of decimal places as the divisor. Then divide the numbers as if they were whole numbers, ignoring the decimal point. Finally, place the decimal point in the quotient directly above the decimal point in the dividend and count that many spaces from the right to get the correct answer.
With this set of math mazes, students will practice dividing a decimal by a decimal and a decimal by a whole number as they work their way through a set of 3 mazes. t.
