Use One-to-One Correspondence Skills with this Counting Objects Board Game
Can your students count to 10? Strengthen one-to-one correspondence skills with this counting to 10 board game.
To play, each player chooses a game piece and places it on start. Player 1 takes the top card from the deck, counts the objects, and moves their game piece to the first umber that matches their card. Play continues until each player draws a card that matches the last space on the game board.
Through this activity, students will show they can use one-to-one correspondence and count up to 10 objects.

Help students who need help understanding the concepts by placing counters on each object. Students then push away or collect each item as they count. Additionally, provide access to previous assignments, as well as posters and anchor charts for students to recall past lessons.

For student who need more of a challenge, encourage them to create an addition or subtraction sentence that equals the number on their card.
