Get Your Students Comparing and Ordering Decimals

Are you looking for a different type of comparing and ordering decimals worksheet for your students? Teach Starter has developed a fun worksheet for your students to complete to practice this important math skill.

On the front side of this worksheet, students will evaluate a series of comparison statements and determine which are true. Students must then color and create an app to signify which statements are true. On the right-hand side of the worksheet, students will create a number that is less than the given digit, and color in the keypad on each phone with the provided color guide.

On the back side of this worksheet, students will evaluate 10 statements to determine if the values are presented in order from least to greatest or vice versa.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Differentiation Ideas to Compare and Order Decimals

Here are some ways you might like to differentiate this comparing and ordering decimals worksheet to cater to students of varying ability levels:

  • Challenge students using the editable version by creating a worksheet with a blank tablet and phones. Students can create their own numbers and trade with a partner to complete them.
  • Support students by encouraging them to line decimals up on a piece of grid paper to easily compare.
