A fun activity to use when learning about parts of speech.
Students are required to identify and color the nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, and pronouns according to the key provided.
An answer sheet is available to download.
This activity is great to use as a writing center activity or a fast finisher activity.
Use relative pronouns (who, whose, whom, which, that) and relative adverbs (where, when, why).
Order adjectives within sentences according to conventional patterns (e.g., a small red bag rather than a red small bag).
Ensure that pronouns are in the proper case (subjective, objective, possessive).
Singular, plural, common, and proper nouns;
Adjectives, including their comparative and superlative forms;
Adverbs that convey frequency and adverbs that convey degree;
Pronouns, including reflexive;
Coordinating conjunctions to form compound subjects, predicates, and sentences;
Adjectives, including their comparative and superlative forms;
Conjunctive adverbs;
Pronouns, including indefinite;
Subordinating conjunctions to form complex sentences;
Conjunctive adverbs;
Pronouns, including relative;
Explain the differences between rhetorical devices and logical fallacies.
