The Civil War for Kids – Reading Comprehension Pack

We’ve got you covered if you’re looking for resources to teach your students about the Civil War. 

This collection of reading passages and comprehension questions worksheets is designed to help younger students learn about the history of the American Civil War. The passages are written at a level that will be accessible to your students, but they still contain enough detail to keep everyone engaged.

• Provide your students with differentiated reading materials to reference while completing their notes project.
• Provide students with an anchor chart, poster, or other Civil War resources to reference during the activity.
