A fun way to explore the use of base ten blocks to build two-digit numbers.

Use this resource when learning about place value and two-digit numbers.

Print, cut, and assemble the tens and ones dice. Students will roll the dice and write each number rolled on the place value chart. Then they will record the two-digit number in the box.

As an extension activity, use the blank die template to draw tens blocks 40-90 and ones blocks 4-9, and explore number up to 99.

This resource comes in color or in black and white.
