How do you find the absolute value? When determining the absolute value of a number is a non-negative number that shows the distance between itself and zero. This applies to whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. The symbol, | |, indicates the absolute value must be found.
With this math worksheet, students will practice finding the absolute value of whole numbers, decimals, and mixed numbers. Additionally, students will also determine which number is required to fill in a missing blank to make a statement true.
