Consolidate Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Conjunctions and Pronouns

Students independently identify the nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions and pronouns and colour each space according to the key provided. 

By the time they’re done, your students will have a colourful chameleon in front of them and a better understanding of six parts of speech.

Students who need a challenge can think of synonyms for each word and write them on the worksheet or use the words on the worksheet to write sentences. 

Support students who need more help by referring them to a parts of speech poster or anchor chart.
