Writing Process Posters – Classroom Displays with a Purpose!

Want to help your students learn to write effectively? Need a new classroom display as you head back to school?  Creating a writing process word wall in your classroom is not only a great way to support them but also a great way to decorate your room for a brand new school year!

The Writing Process for kids classroom display is designed with the visual learner in mind. Each of the 22  half-page word wall posters provides a clear, student-friendly definition of each writing concept and visuals supporting the meaning of different vocabulary words related to the writing process. The descriptive text and supporting visuals are designed for easy viewing from all angles in your classroom.

How to Make the Most of Your Writing Process Poster

  1. Print the posters on letter-sized paper and display them on a permanent bulletin board  or writing process anchor chart in your classroom.
  2. Attach a magnet to the backside of printed posters and use them as a moveable word wall on your magnetic whiteboard.

We’ve also developed bonus ways to turn posters into interactive tools that make your lessons stick!

📂 Place copies in students’ homework folders for reference.

💻 Provide posters as digital resources for virtual students.
