Use this teaching resource as a class reward system.

Set up a classroom display with the Space Station Store poster and Token Reward posters. Provide each student with their own Alien Credits Wallet and Account Balance sheet. Cut and laminate a set of Alien Credits to keep on hand. As a class, decide how many Alien Credits each reward is worth, and record the amount on each poster.

Hand out Alien Credits to students who display great efforts in the classroom. Students use their Account Balance sheet to record their credits and debits and keep their Alien Credits in their Wallets.

When students have accumulated the required amount of Alien Credits for a reward, they exchange their Alien Credits for a Reward Token. Students can use their token for their chosen reward at a time agreed to by the teacher. Students may receive a rare Golden Ticket for an ‘intergalactic’ effort with an accompanying special reward decided by the class. They may also lose Alien Credits, as determined by the teacher.

A blank Reward Token poster has been included to create individual class rewards.
