Australia and Its Neighbours: Papua New Guinea

While the continent of Australia is also a single country, it is surrounded by many island nations that we consider to be our neighbours. One such island nation is Papua New Guinea.

Papua New Guinea is located to the north of Australia in the South Pacific Ocean. It comprises of the eastern half of New Guinea (the western half comprises of the Indonesian provinces of Papua and West Papua). The capital city of Papua New Guinea is Port Moresby.
