Easter Activity – Practise Simple Addition

Are you looking for a fun, yet curriculum-aligned Easter activity to use in your classroom?

This Easter egg addition activity is a great way to help primary maths learners practise simple addition in a fun and engaging way. The activity includes a set of colourful Easter egg images with simple addition sums printed on them. These eggs are designed to be cut out and used for the activity. The simple addition sums are then added together and the answer can be found on the black and white worksheet. Students need to colour the matching egg.

This maths activity can be used in several ways, such as a group activity, a partner activity, or as a fun maths centre.

Use the editable Google Slides version of this resource to make the activity more challenging, by using larger numbers or introducing subtraction instead.
