Converting Mixed Numeral Fractions to Improper Fractions

  1. Multiply the whole number by the denominator of the fraction.
  2. Add the answer of the multiplication sum to the numerator of the fraction.
  3. The answer becomes the numerator of the fraction written on top of the original denominator.

The worksheet contains 12 questions for students to complete as well as working out space for students to write the multiplication and addition number sentences.
