Christmas Sentence Correction Worksheets for Revision Lessons

With this worksheet, students will work on their editing skills by applying the rules for capitalisation, punctuation, spelling, and word spacing in sentences. Use this worksheet for independent practice to review and assess the concepts after your writing conventions lesson.

Correct the Sentence Worksheet Scaffolding and Extension Tips

  • Fast finishers can create their own passage with purposeful errors (with an answer key) and swap papers with another student to edit each other’s texts.
  • If you have students struggling with the concepts, complete the worksheets in a guided small group, or assign students to work with a partner.

Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Students

Because this resource includes an answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheet for students to complete.

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity! Print a few copies on card and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can record their answers with a dry-erase marker, then erase and reuse them.

You can also project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
