Engage Your Future Engineers with a Christmas STEAM Challenge!

Get ready for the end of term holidays by prepping a fun and competitive Christmas STEAM project! We’ve put together a top-notcht STEAM activity that guides your students to building the tallest standing structure using decorated cups.

Provide students with the instruction, planning, and design documents prior to beginning. Provide them with 20 disposable paper cups and set them to work. They will brainstorm, plan, sketch a schematic, complete the task, and reflect on their findings.

STEM Activities are Perfect for Building Collaborative Skills

In addition to STEM learning, through this activity, students will:

☘️ Exercise critical thinking skills

☘️ Explore creativity

☘️ Strengthen verbal and motor skills

☘️ Consider cause and effect, and

☘️ Have fun!

Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Students

We suggest using sustainable resources like reused or recycled paper and other materials that can be repurposed after completing this activity.
