Celebrate World Kindness Day with this gorgeous bee writing and craft template.

Let’s BEE kind this World Kindness Day!

Celebrate World Kindness Day by building a bee and talking and brainstorming all of the ways you can ‘BEE’ kind! This printable writing and craft template is the perfect activity to complete after your class has brainstormed all of the ways they can show kindness to others.

To complete this activity, students cut out the pieces and write one or two of the ways they can be kind from the brainstormed list. Then, they can colour and decorate the parts of the bee and use glue to stick it all together on a piece or card.

The completed bees would create the perfect classroom display this World Kindness Day.

What is World Kindness Day?

World Kindness Day is a designated day to pause and consciously reflect on times when we have been shown kindness and think about ways in which we can treat others kindly.

✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors

This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.

With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:

  • strengthen finger and hand muscles
  • build dexterity and fine motor skills
  • improve hand-eye coordination
  • develop focus and attention.

And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.

Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!

Download & Print — It’s Child’s Play!

You might like to print this resource on card for added durability if you are going to use it for a classroom display.
