Looking for Amazing Activities with Synonyms and Antonyms?

Add a little love to your grammar and writing lessons with a fun, new Synonyms and Antonyms interactive game. Synonyms are essential for kids because they help them expand their vocabulary and improve their language skills. Knowing synonyms allows kids to use different words to express themselves and understand and communicate with others more effectively. This self-checking activity is the perfect way to engage your students and build their vocabularies to help them become better readers and writers.

Have Fun & Learn With A Self-Checking Synonym Activity

This activity requires students to

  • Look at a pair of words
  • Determine if those words are synonyms or antonyms.

To play, students will click each slide’s synonym or antonym button to select their answer. They will be taken to a screen showing if they are correct or need to return and try again. All the slides have been properly linked to make this a self-checking activity for your students.

By practising this skill in an engaging way, students can strengthen their ability to identify and use synonyms and antonyms when speaking, reading, and writing.
